One year ago, a 9.0 magnitude earthquake rocked the shores of Japan creating tsunamis that caused one of the largest disasters the world has ever seen in the modern world.
Many of the areas now have been fully repaired -- the images taken from google maps shows the Shiogama Port (above) and Minami Sanriku Town in Miyagi (below) before and after the disaster.
