Toshiba Regza 55XS5 gets outclassed by LG

Toshiba Regza 55XS5 4K 3D TV - $9,500
This month, Toshiba will release the 55-inch 4K 3D TV dubbed the Regza 55XS5, which is very similar to the ZL2 launched last December except this TV will require the use of 3D glasses unlike its predecessor the 55X3. What's so special about this TV? Well it boasts a QFHD resolution of 3840x2160. That is indeed impressive. What's not impressive though is the outrageous $9,500 USD Toshiba is asking for.
55-inch LG OLED TV, estimated price $9,000
Not only is this price super expensive for a TV, the justification is simply outrageous. A 4k TV thats only 55-inches is not worth almost ten grand. Ten grand? Thats OLED TV money. LG is releasing their LG OLED TV soon and it will be priced similarly and it is already a 4k TV (LG OLED TV). Not to mention it is OLED with a 4mm thick panel that outclasses every aspect of the Regza 55XS5.
84-inch LG LM9600 4K 3D TV, estimated price $9,999
It gets better (worse for Regza). LG will release a 4K 3D TV as well later this year and not only will it be priced at around $9500-10,000, it is a whopping 29-inches larger than the 55XS5. Yea, that's right, 84-inches. What was/is Toshiba thinking? tsk tsk.
